Until That Time Comes

sometimes, slowly drifting
the easiest way to pass the time
saying you are traveling—
when really you just sit and wait
until that time comes

what time?
maybe the time when something so outside of who you are strikes you in  the face
maybe then—
you actually feel like you are getting somewhere
